Our Past:

In the summer of 2005, Cincinnati played host to the NMRA National Convention. Of the many layouts displayed we quickly fell in love with the modular system of the North Carolina Sipping & Switching Society. We found ourselves admiring their lightweight waffle modules and how well their long trains rain. In fact, we didn't notice a derailment all weekend.

The first evening of the convention a group of friends got together for dinner. It was there that we decided to create a new railroad club in Cincinnati. The Ohio Valley Sipping & Switching Society was formed. The original group has since expanded to our current size of 34 modules, and 11 members.

Construction on the new modules began in early 2006. The club made its debut at the Louisville, KY Worlds Greatest Hobby show in June of 2008 with 16 modules. We haven't looked back since.
